The MOT has been in effect since December 1998, after the approval of the Royal Decree 2822/1998 of 23 December of the respective vehicle-related legislation.
It ensures that registered vehicles are roadworthy and comply with environmental legislation. Passing an MOT provides life insurance for all of us.
